PRINCIPLES IN CHRISTIAN LIVING

(PICL)

Dear Saints:

The principle taught in Matthew 7:24-27 is that in order to build something secure and lasting, which includes our walk with God, a solid foundation is needed. Today, many Christians, though born again for several years, lack a solid scriptural foundation for what they believe and do. The danger of this condition is described in Ephesians 4:14 -- they are “tossed back and forth by the waves, and blown here and there by every wind of teaching and by the cunning and craftiness of men in their deceitful scheming.”

My concern is for your protection against doctrinal errors and ignorance.

Hosea 4:6 “My people are destroyed from lack of knowledge.”

Matthew 22:29 “You are in error because you do not know the Scriptures or the power of God.”

Ignorance of God’s Word is a great tragedy because it invites disaster. I have seen too many Christians go down the wrong road because they did not have knowledge or understanding of God’s ways. For this reason I have written PICL. My hope is that, through this course of Bible study, you will become a stronger Christian. The objective of this course is to provide milk for the babes, bread for the little children and meat for the older men and women of God, therefore establishing “Principles In Christian Living” as a foundation for a successful walk with God.
